Twentyone-Eleven
International, Ltd.
Twentyone-Eleven Int’l., Ltd. (2111USA) was established in
1995 by Steve Lawrence to provide continuity for existing professional
consulting services in the areas of IT training for people with
disabilities and business best practices.
Based on over 20 years of experience in Information Technology
training programs for people with disabilities as well as management
of recruiting, training, and placement services, Mr. Lawrence formalized
some of these offerings in the form of process reviews and training
classes customized for non-profit training organizations as well
as for-profit businesses.
Twentyone-Eleven Int’l. staff were instrumental in formulating
the partnership between Manpower Incorporated and ARPCT to provide
internship and placement opportunities for ARPCT graduates.
Under a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to Western
Michigan University’s Tate Center for Research, Twentyone-Eleven
is engaged in a three-year study of the effectiveness of e-Learning
(web delivered technical training) for Community College IT students
with disabilities.
2111USA is also active in developing international learning experiences.
Mr. Lawrence has recently participated in, or led, educational trips
in China, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cuba. Because
of Steve’s interest in accessibility, he endeavors to create
a disability awareness component to these travels.
Steve Lawrence is a recognized international motivational speaker.
In 2002 he presented his ideas on professional employment for people
with disabilities from Vancouver, British Columbia to Miami, Florida.
2111USA also participates in teacher/faculty training about mainstreaming
students with disabilities in the college classroom.
At Twentyone-Eleven International, Ltd., we are senior corporate
business professionals working in partnership with the disability
community and with educators to promote best practices for training
and placement of qualified Information Technology professionals.
